We believe it is important that families understand the actual cost associated with Catholic education. We publish our budget summary annually to familiarize our families with the expenses of the school.
The St. Thomas tuition program is a stewardship program. Stewardship is a Gospel teaching where each individual must offer time, talent, and treasure as a part of life in God's family. At St. Thomas, our parents determine what they can faithfully offer in time, talent, and treasure toward the full cost of educating their children.
As our school continues to grow, we recognize the need to have all families practice stewardship through tuition and service. For our part, we continue to explore opportunities which help keep tuition costs affordable for all families.
A generous financial aid program provides families who apply for aid the opportunity to participate in Catholic education according to their means. We work with each family to ensure that no one is denied admission to St. Thomas based upon financial need.
The actual per student cost of an education at St. Thomas the Apostle School is $6,400. Because of the financial support of our Parish community and the efforts of our Development Committee, we are able to provide each student with a $1,500 scholarship, keeping tuition affordable for all.
2017-2018 Tuition: Kindergarten – Grade 8
- Per pupil tuition is $ 5,120 + Activity Fee* ($100 K-5; $150 6-8)
- Multi-student discounts are provided.
- Needs based Scholarships available.
*Activity fee covers the cost of participation in most after school clubs, technology and field trips.
Kindergarten - Grade 8 Families make tuition payments through FACTS over a 12 month period, from July through June, either through direct withdrawal or credit card. Families who opt to pay tuition over the 12 month period must create a FACTS tuition account. Each family will pay a $50 administrative fee for the creation and maintenance of the tuition account.
Families who opt to pay tuition in-full by July 1 will not be responsible for the $50 administrative fee.
2017-2018 Tuition: Preschool
4 Year Old Pre-K $2,830 (3 half days per week)
4 Year Old Pre-K & Enrichment $3,930 (5 half days per week)
3 Year Old Pre-K $1,930 (2 half days per week)
Preschool families will pay a non-refundable down payment to reserve their spot in the class in April. They may opt to pay the tuition balance in-full by July 1 or to pay monthly installments July - May.
Please Note: Upon acceptance in Preschool - Grade 8, parents/guardians of newly accepted students are required to sign a letter of intent to enroll and pay a non-refundable down payment in order to guarantee placement.
